A math placement test is offered for all new incoming 6th, 7th and 8th grade students.
New student is defined as anyone who did not attend a LOSD school during the 2017-
2018 school year.
If a student wants to be placed in grade level math, no placement test is necessary. If a student
wants to be considered for advanced level math, a placement test isrequired.
Plan on attending one of the two walk in sessions. Testing typically takes about 1 hour but
students will be given the time they need to finish. Calculators are not allowed. Bring two pencils
and be ready to start at 9:00.

Monday, August 13, 9am – 11am
