Getting Retakes? Please bring your original package and include any notes of what you would like done differently (helps the photographer to ensure you are satisfied with your photo). Have your student hand their packet to the photographer.

First Time Photo? We will provide price lists on Retake Day or you can print an order form here. When Should I Keep My Child Home From School?

Does my child have any of the following?

  • Diarrhea: At least 3 stools in 24 hours OR sudden onset of loose stools
  • Vomiting: At least one episode that is unexplained
  • Fever: A body temperature of at least 100.5
  • New Skin Rash, Sores, or Wounds: Not previously diagnosed by a health care provider

NO? Then OK to send to school!

YES? Continue reading below!

For Diarrhea or Vomiting:

Stay at Home

Until symptoms are gone for 24 hours.

For Fever:

Stay at Home

Until fever is below 100.5 for 24 hours WITHOUT the use of fever-reducing medications (for example:  Tylenol, acetaminophen, Advil, Motrin, ibuprofen, etc.).

For Skin Rash, Sores, or Wounds:

Stay at Home

If rash is increasing in size, OR if new sores or wounds are developing day-to-day, OR if rash, sores, or wounds are draining and cannot be covered with a bandage.

NO contact sports until sores or wounds are healed or no longer draining.

For a cough lasting 2 weeks or longer, please contact your child’s healthcare provider.

The school may call you to pick up your child if symptoms or complaints prevent him or her from participating in usual school activities OR your child requires more care than the school staff can safely provide. 

Please contact your health care provider or a school district nurse for any questions or concerns.
